¡Nos emociona mucho darles la bienvenida a usted y a su hijo/a a la Escuela Primaria Lorenzo de Zavala! El kínder es un paso importante, y estamos aquí para apoyarlos en cada paso. Esta página es su lugar de referencia para obtener actualizaciones importantes, recursos útiles y maneras de participar en el primer año de su hijo/a en De Zavala. Ya sea su primera vez en nuestra escuela o que regrese con otro/a pequeñín/a, nos complace mucho tenerlos como parte de nuestra comunidad.
Kindergarten is planning an exciting field trip to SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium on Friday, April 17. Our Kindergarten class will explore the 360-degree ocean tunnel, visit the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, and participate in the Interactive Rockpool, where students can touch sea stars and anemones!
Kindergarten is planning an exciting field trip to SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium on Friday, April 17. Our Kindergarten class will explore the 360-degree ocean tunnel, visit the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, and participate in the Interactive Rockpool, where students can touch sea stars and anemones!
To be a chaperone, you must complete your background check on the GPISD website, join Zavala PTA, and attend a chaperone meeting.
Chaperones are not permitted on the bus and must use their own vehicle.

Kínder está planeando una emocionante excursión al Acuario SEA LIFE en Grapevine el viernes 17 de abril. Explorarán el túnel oceánico de 360 grados, visitarán el Centro de Rescate de Tortugas Marinas y participarán en la Piscina Interactiva de Rocas, donde podrán tocar estrellas de mar y anémonas.

The cost for the field trip will be $11 for chaperones.

You can pay online here or send the money to your child’s teacher. If you turn in money to the office, please put it in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, grade, and teacher’s name. Thank you!
