Second grade is a year of growing independence, curiosity, and confidence. We’re proud to support our students, teachers, and families as they explore new skills and concepts. Stay tuned for classroom news, PTA events, and opportunities to get involved throughout the year!
El segundo grado es un año de creciente independencia, curiosidad y confianza. Nos enorgullece apoyar a nuestros estudiantes, maestros y familias mientras exploran nuevas habilidades y conceptos. ¡Estén atentos a las noticias del aula, los eventos de la PTA y las oportunidades de participación durante todo el año!
We are excited to share that our 2nd grade students will be going on a field trip to the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge on Thursday, December 11! This trip will give students a chance to explore wildlife, learn about animal habitats, and enjoy an engaging educational experience.
Important Details
• ID Badge: Students must bring their school ID badge. If your child needs a replacement, please contact their teacher.
• Lunch: Please ensure your child brings a sack lunch for this trip.
Nos complace anunciar que nuestros alumnos de segundo grado irán de excursión al Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge el jueves 11 de diciembre. Esta excursión les brindará la oportunidad de explorar la vida silvestre, aprender sobre sus hábitats y disfrutar de una experiencia educativa enriquecedora.
Detalles importantes
• Credencial: Los estudiantes deben traer su credencial escolar. Si su hijo/a necesita una nueva, por favor, contacte a su maestro/a.
• Almuerzo: Asegúrese de que su hijo/a traiga su propio almuerzo para esta excursión.
If you’d like to join us as a chaperone, please make sure you’ve completed the background check on the GPISD website, signed up for the Zavala PTA, and let your child’s teacher know you’re interested.
Chaperones are not allowed on the bus and must go in their own vehicle.
